Mr. Igor Peabody (nicknamed Pea Brain by Junior) is a character and tertiary antagonist in the Problem Child film series. He is Junior's second archenemy. He was portrayed by the late Gilbert Gottfried in all three films and the animated series.
Personality[]
Mr. Peabody has a habit of changing occupations, as he went from adoption agent to school principal to dentist. He mostly did so, because of his chance to torture children, due to Junior.
At first, he told them that Junior was innocent, as he conned Ben and Flo into adopting him. Deep down he despises Junior and wants him out of his life.
Fresh start[]
After moving to Mortville, he took a job as a school principal. Peabody is mean to his students and only wants to be principal, because he hates children. He is horrified to see Junior again, as he attempts to enroll at the school but claims Junior is not meant for the school and calls him a genius. As a result, he sends him to the 6th grade (so he wouldn't have to deal with him for another three years). He is also seen at a pizza restaurant with his buxom girlfriend, where they’re engaged in a food fight with Junior, Trixie, Ben, and Annie.
In Problem Child 3: Junior in Love, he has changed his profession to dentistry and orthodontia. When Junior comes to see him for cracking a tooth on an apple, he recognizes him and pretends to let bygones be bygones, as he checks on him. However, he sees this as an opportunity to get back at him, for all his years of suffering. So with the help of his assistant (she uses an x-ray of a horse's mouth) he cons Little Ben into believing that Junior will need dental braces. Since he knows that Junior will look like a geek. So now he can finally make him suffer. However Junior eventually ends up having the last laugh. During a much later check up, Junior holds his breath and fills the room full of nitrous oxide. So he and his assistant began to feel no pain and laugh uncontrollably. So Junior puts dental braces in both he and his assistants mouths, and even suspends them from the ceiling by their braces.
